Finally, a way to help the men much of the world forgot.

Of the 779 men jailed and tortured in the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, all but 30 have been released. Many of them suffer from mental or physical disabilities as a result of their long imprisonment, lack legal documentation, and suffer from government surveillance, suspicion, and unemployment, which may leave them in extreme poverty.

In the first two years, the Guantanamo Survivors Fund has already helped 38 former Guantanamo prisoners who were struggling to meet their basic needs.
